SGT Pasqual “Sgt Rock” Torres

 

 

Pat passed away from cancer on 8 Sep 2007. He served with the B-2/501st in RVN 67-68.

Sgt Rock was my best friend. We trained together at Fort Campbell. He put me on the dustoff when I was  wounded. He came to see me in CA when he was on leave during his 2nd tour. He game me his Army uniform jacket. He almost didn’t get to board the plane on his way back because he was out of uniform. He sent me an engraved ID bracelet with our names on it during his 2nd tour.  I still have his uniform jacket and the ID bracelet to this day. I miss him so.
