Operation RANDOLPH GLEN
This 101st Airborne Division/ARVN operation on the edge of populated lowlands in eastern Thua Thien Province involved a combination of Civil Action programs and coordinated military actions with South Vietnamese forces providing security against Communist pressure. May 23, 1970, the 101st Airborne Division was awarded the Vietnamese Civic Action Medal. The operation ran from 7 Dec 1969 – 31 Mar 1970.
