Dale passed away suddenly on 28 Jun 2001, at the age of 51 years. Dale was a big fan and collector of Harley Davidson memorabilia.

“Dale was also known as “YANK” in Georgia where he lived from the time he got back from Vietnam in 1970 until 1982. He carried his battle scars in his heart daily until his untimely death. Dale served in Vietnam 2/14/69 to 2/13/70. Of the many battles he fought in, one was the Battle of Hamburger Hill. He was much loved and was a dear and special person. With his untimely passing he left many sad, grieving people here. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran and was proud to be a ‘Screaming Eagle'”.

“Now his heart is troubled no more and his spirit flies free with the Eagle he once proudly represented. No more tears, no more heartache, no more far away pain– be at peace my Eagle– you are free at last!”

“AS LONG AS JUST ONE PERSON REMEMBERS YOU, YOU ARE NEVER FORGOTTEN!!”
